ABOUT TMTS (AKA obedience RUN THROUGHS) in kent, wa
We are thrilled to offer single-ring Ten Minute Tickers at Family Dog in Kent (address and driving directions in next section). The training room is pictured below and measures 50 x 75. There will be posts in the ring, but they will not impact the proper placement of Utility and Open jumps. These TMTs are for obedience runs only. We will not use signs for Beginner Novice; the judge will call the heeling orders instead.
(TMT) slots will be 10 minutes long and a "judge" will be provided to assist you -- putting you through a class or helping you work on select exercises. The cost for 10 minutes is $14.
TMT dates that are open for registration are listed below the photo. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the TMT date or when it is full. Day-of-event registration may be accepted if there is space available. Please read the Registration Agreement, below, regarding refunds. (There are no refunds because we do not make money on these by the time we reimburse helpers and pay rent; however, you may give or sell your spot on your own provided you let us know.)

A PDF of the final run order will be posted on this page, below the photo, at least 48 hours prior to the event as a reminder to participants. However, when you choose your time slot(s) they are reserved for you, so be sure to make a note of your reservation. Any empty slots, available for day-of registration, will also be noted on the PDF. Day-of registration is cash only.

This event is being offered by Kathy Lang & Ingrida Robinson and will be held at Family Dog Training Center, 1509 Central Ave. S., Kent, WA 98032. Click here for driving directions. There is room for crating and warming up outside the ring. Bring your own crate or crate out of your vehicle. Be sure to clean up after your dog. Do not allow your dog to potty anywhere other than the potty area.
TMT HELPERS ARE SOMETIMES NEEDED
In order to offer TMT rings that best simulate an actual trial, we need volunteers! If you can volunteer to judge for one hour, please email Kathy Lang with the date and time you prefer after you sign up for your spot.
For every hour you volunteer to judge we will compensate you with one free run for helping. Judges should have experience calling commands for all levels of classes; but we will also provide a sheet with judges' orders/commands for each class. Email Kathy Lang if you want to judge BEFORE you sign up for the TMT.

We are not scheduling stewards for these TMTS; however, we do ask everyone to help as needed.
How to BOOK YOUR TIME SLOT(S)
Scroll down to read the Registration Agreement and then select the date of the TMT you prefer. Double-check the calendar page, then find the date you want. (You can scroll through the calendar.) From there you'll be able to choose your time slot(s) and pay online.

Make your selection and follow the onscreen instructions. If you are selecting multiple items, use the ADD TO CART option. If you are only choosing one option, you can use the BOOK NOW option.
REGISTRATION AGREEMENT -- READ BEFORE REGISTERING
There are no refunds unless we are forced to cancel this event. If you are unable to attend you may sell your spot to another person, provided you email us with that person's name and email address.

Credit card or PayPal transactions that are not able to be completed due to restrictions by the credit provider may be subject to a $30 administrative processing fee.

Dogs must be on leash at all times, unless they are working/training in the ring.
​
All participants must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in the appropriate containers.
​
Dogs and humans are not allowed outside of the immediate area in which this event is being held as this is an active business park.
Dogs that are disruptive, aggressive or pose a threat to other dogs and/or humans will be asked to leave and no refund for any unused portion of the class session will be given. Dogs must be confined/supervised when they are not actively working.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kathy Lang Canine Coaching, LLC, Family Dog Training Center and their owners, board of directors, officers, agents, employees, instructors, and staff members, from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or liability of any kind whatsoever, for death, personal injury, animal injury or property damage in any way proximately caused by myself, my family members, my friends and/or any animal belonging to, or brought onto the premises by myself or any member of my family or my assigns. I further agree, on behalf of myself, my family and my assigns, to assume complete and sole responsibility for any and all actions of any animal belonging to, or brought onto the premises by myself, any member of my family or my agents or assigns.
