About the Seminar
Kathy has been teaching BAC classes and workshops for many years after seeing the benefits with her own dogs. Her clients include Best-in Show winning conformation dogs and breed champions; agility, obedience and rally enthusiasts; and senior citizens (13+ year old dogs).

The seminar will cover basic concepts and foundation equipment, along with introductory exercises and stretches taught in a very safe and step-by-step manner. Trained dogs LOVE to do their "exercises" and provide a wonderful way to stimulate their brains as well as their bodies.
​
Dogs and puppies over 12 weeks, without any known physical limitations, injuries or issues are welcome to attend. This workshop will NOT cover rehabilitation exercises or recommendations. If you are not sure about the appropriateness of this workshop, email Kathy​ and/or consult with your veterinarian.
What to Bring
Handlers should bring a cot, soft crate or mat for their dogs, along with water and lots of long, soft treats. String cheese works great for most dogs. Hard biscuits and small treats tend to be more difficult to work with. Basic obedience/control is helpful. Dogs should be food motivated as BAC skills are difficult to teach without food. Toys are also problematic.

Arrive Early
Plan to arrive 20 minutes or so early to get settled. Printed handouts will be distributed.
Registration, Payments, Refunds, Etc.
No refunds unless we have a waiting list and we can fill your spot; however, you may sell your spot to a friend provided you give us written confirmation (email is fine).

Online registration is preferred and may be done using the links below. We accept credit cards and PayPal. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, sign up below and choose the "off-line payment" option on the final check-out page. DO NOT MAIL YOUR CHECK; either bring it to your obedience class or to the workshop.

Returned or NSF checks are subject to a $30 bank processing fee.

Credit card or PayPal transactions that are not able to be completed due to restrictions by the credit provider may be subject to a $30 administrative processing fee.
​
Refunds must be requested no later than 24 hours of the workshop and will incur a $30 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be issued outside of that window.
​
In the event the workshop is canceled due to low enrollment or other issues, a full refund will be issued within 10 days of the workshop date.
​
Dogs must wear a collar with identification, and the collar must be fastened in such a way that the dog cannot escape out of it. Body and head harnesses are typically not recommended; however, if they are used the dog must also wear a collar with identification.
Dogs must be on leash at all times.
All participants must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in the appropriate containers.

Dogs that are disruptive, aggressive or pose a threat to other dogs and/or humans will be asked to leave and no refund for any unused portion of the workshop will be given.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kathy Lang Canine Coaching, LLC, Family Dog Training Center and their owners, board of directors, officers, agents, employees, instructors, and staff members, from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action or liability of any kind whatsoever, for death, personal injury, animal injury or property damage in any way proximately caused by myself, my family members, my friends and/or any animal belonging to, or brought onto the premises by myself or any member of my family or my assigns. I further agree, on behalf of myself, my family and my assigns, to assume complete and sole responsibility for any and all actions of any animal belonging to, or brought onto the premises by myself, any member of my family or my agents or assigns.
